Trojans prevail at Sherwood Cup

Junior Dejan Cvetkovic reached the singles championship match in San Diego eventually falling in a tough fought battle to UCLA's Haythem Abid. The consolation final featured the all Trojan matchup of Chong Wang and Jason McNaughton. McNaughton won 6-2, 6-2.

Hopefully the Trojan men can use this momentum heading into dual match play, hosting LMU and Cal Poly for a doubleheader on Jan. 20.

It was a solid performance by the Trojans as all many of the top programs sent their best players. Kaes Van't Hof teamed with mid-season newcomer Robert Farah to reach the doubles semifinals. Jamil Al-Agba also competed but withdrew due to injury concern.
